About Me
Dan Sampson is of Scottish, French, and Indigenous ancestry, a member of Whitefish River First Nation with Ojibwe and Métis roots. Originally from Sudbury, Ontario, he currently lives on the lands of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Neutral Peoples. He is an art director, motion designer, and father, with a focus on Indigenous storytelling, creative leadership, and meaningful, narrative-driven design.
I work across brand, news, advertising, government, cannabis, and education—anywhere a story needs to move and make an impact. I’ve built campaigns, led teams, directed animation, written scripts, edited reels, scored sound, and pushed pixels. I'm open to freelance, contract, leadership, and purpose-driven collaborations. If your team needs clear thinking and strong execution, I’m ready to jump in.
